My name is Nina. I am a Black woman, a writer, a poet, a spoken word artist, and a builder of things that matter. I have spent a long time learning how to live with intention and honesty, and this space is one of the places where that work finds its form.
The Beauty of a Butterfly is not just a blog about transformation in the simple sense, the before and after, the struggle and the triumph. It is also about the in between, the becoming. The moments that do not fit a clean narrative but that matter enormously nonetheless. The beauty that exists not despite the complexity of being alive but inside it.
